300 CATS

300 CATS

In today’s rescue news, we were asked to help when 300 cats were recently found living in one apartment. Of course we couldn’t say no. Today, several volunteers were on hand at our vet to meet & greet 25 of these cats that were delivered to us from Toronto.

Not surprisingly, these cats were scared, but none were aggressive. In fact, they are all very sweet. Surprisingly, they do appear to be in good health, aside from being a bit malnourished and dehydrated.

They will spend the next few days at the vet where they will have full health checks, including vaccinations and spay or neuter. From there, they will be placed in foster homes before adoption.

Thank you to the volunteers who were on hand to assist and we send a huge thank you to Dr. Padma and her staff at Rivergrove Animal Hospital for taking in all 25 cats.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO DONATE
As you can imagine, there will be considerable costs associated with helping these cats. If you would like to donate to their care,
no amount is too small.
